Who was that mysterious Southron?
What a week! First the second anniversary of Halfway There is celebrated with nonstop festivities and revelry. Then today witnesses the arrival of the 100,000th visitor. My cup overfloweth.
Sitemeter reports that visitor 100,000 logged on from Los Angeles, using Covad as his (her?) Internet service provider and running Internet Explorer 7.0 under Windows XP. The visitor arrived at 6:49:24 this morning and lingered for zero seconds. (Yes, I sometimes have that effect on people.) Visitor 100,000 came here directly from Pharyngula, seeking enlightenment concerning the Lodi apparition of Jesus in a wooden fence. I trust that the desired enlightenment was achieved.
I am naturally too modest to take credit for the burgeoning traffic flow. I must humbly acknowledge the true source of such bounty and give thanks to the Holy Trinity of PZ, Knothole Jesus, and Holey Mary. Amen, and over and out.
